The very first Arbroath Abbey Newsletter has just been released offering readers a behind-the-scenes look at one of Scotland’s most historic landmarks. The newsletter is packed with updates, stories, and exclusive news from the team caring for the Abbey.
Anyone who missed the first edition can still sign up to be added to the distribution list for future updates, ensuring they’re always in the loop with what’s happening at Arbroath Abbey.
To coincide with the newsletter launch, Historic Environment Scotland has also unveiled a limited number of Abbot’s House Scaffold Tours – a unique chance for visitors to climb the scaffolding and witness vital conservation work up close.
These tours offer a rare perspective on the Abbey’s architecture and allow a glimpse into the intricate work being carried out by the expert conservation team. As the same team is actively working across both the Abbey and other historic sites in Angus, places on these tours are extremely limited.
The tours are already attracting attention and so early booking is strongly advised.
