We are excited to announce a series of design workshops open to everyone, starting in late April and continuing over the following months. These workshops will build on the ideas gathered during the consultation and provide an open platform to contribute their thoughts.

Together, we’ll collaborate on shaping the future of Arbroath. Your input is invaluable as we work to refine and develop the town’s vision.

Celebrate Our History at Declaration Day 2025 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Join us on Sunday 6th April, as we mark the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath with a fun-filled day of history and community spirit!

📍 Kicking off at 1:30 PM at Arbroath Abbey, enjoy:
📜 Storytelling and talks from local experts
✍️ Calligraphy lessons
🎨 Arts and crafts
🕺 Silent disco & Highland dancing
🎯 Inflatable axe throwing
🍰 Cakes, treats and local produce
🏋️ Mini boot camp

At 4pm, follow the procession down the Golden Mile to the harbour, where the Declaration will set sail once more, just as it did in 1320! ⚓

This event is proudly organised by Friends of Arbroath Abbey - a non-political group supporting Arbroath Abbey!
