Arbroath Town Board Invites You to a Public Consultation Event

Date: Thursday 3rd October, 2024
Time: 7:00PM
Location: Webster Theatre, Arbroath

The Arbroath Town Board is excited to invite the community to our next public consultation event. Following months of gathering feedback, we will be presenting and discussing the proposed allocation of funds to various projects and opportunities identified by local residents.

Key Points:

  • Government Funding Update: While there is no guarantee of securing the £20M government funding, the Town Board is committed to submitting our application by the 1st November deadline. Even if the government funding is not secured, the Town Board will actively explore other potential sources to support the identified projects.
  • Community-Driven Plan: The proposed plan is based on the valuable input received from the community during the consultation via the postcards, online survey, and in person meetings.

Arbroath Town Board Chair, Peter Stirling, said: “We believe it’s essential to submit our application, regardless of the outcome. The extensive work put into developing this community-driven plan is invaluable. By showcasing our vision, we increase our chances of securing funding and delivering positive changes for Arbroath.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the draft funding allocation proposal based on the feedback we have received from you. Your input is crucial in shaping the future of our town.

#TogetherWeCan

We are committed to gathering input from our community to ensure this project best reflects our shared values and aspirations. This consultation process is an opportunity for everyone to contribute their thoughts and ideas, and we welcome your feedback as we shape the future together.
