June Community Workshops – We Need You!

* Please note a change of venue on Friday to St Andrews Church *

The first round of community workshops in May saw fantastic attendance and powerful input from across the town. Since then, your ideas have been distilled, developed and at the next wave of workshops in a few weeks’ time, we’ll show you how they’re taking shape – and how they can be developed further.

Each upcoming workshop will cover a different set of topics, so you can choose the one most relevant to you, your family or your business – or please do come to all three.

📅 Wednesday 25 June – Old & Abbey Church Hall

Mixed-Use Community Hub | Regenerating the Town Centre and High Street | Victoria Park and Cliffs

📅 Thursday 26 June – Old & Abbey Church Hall

Charity Hub | West Links Park | Overnight Facilities, Hotels, Campervans and Campsites

📅 Friday 27 June – St Andrews Church

Harbour Area | Parks, Food Production and Wellbeing | Connections Between Town Assets and the Tourist Trail

All sessions are 5.30pm – 8.00pm.

The town board, made up of local volunteers, relies on your insight. Whether you join in person or online (updated surveys will be shared at the time), this is your chance to help shape the future of your town.

We’d especially love to hear from more young people so if you know anyone that would like to have their say please encourage them to come along. Let’s keep the conversation going.

We are committed to gathering input from our community to ensure this project best reflects our shared values and aspirations. This consultation process is an opportunity for everyone to contribute their thoughts and ideas, and we welcome your feedback as we shape the future together.
