Try Ceilidh Dancing!

Have you ever wondered what ceilidh dancing is about, or perhaps your children or grandchildren have mentioned it because they may have a done a little bit at school. Then why not “give it a go” and find out a little bit more by coming along to St Vigeans Hall, just outside Arbroath when Lorna Valentine, a local dance teacher who teaches at many Country Dance classes will be starting a programme of monthly Family Ceilidh sessions.

Lorna said “Ceilidh dancing is for all ages so we would encourage families to come along to these sessions which focus on having fun. As well as the likes of the Gay Gordons, other less known dances will be included. No experience is necessary and the sessions will feature live traditional music.”
